Wyspa Magerøya - N71*03’ E25*41’
The original plan assumed that in Sarnes in Arnt s house I will spend only one night, then I will continue walking to the south of Norway. Plans plans and came as usual ...
In the evening, we talked a little by a coffee and we have come to an agreement that in exchange for a place to sleep (as it later turned out also some salary) began work on the construction and refurbishment terrace and house ... one night turned to three weeks.
The decision of staying for a longer time turned out to be accurate, no work has ever brought me such satisfaction.
Time spent on the island Magerøya can be summarized in a few sentences, and the main word of the text will be "work". 10-11 hours every day painting, moving, building, scraping, inserting, stacking, etc., 5 hours of sleeping and the pleasure of drinking coffee in the morning on the terrace with a view at the bay and the cliffs. Only the reindeer, walking where they want (as in our cats or dogs) and leave their droppings. Unable to work normally, because every moment in a man climbs into something:).

Atmosphere of that place is being built by everything that surrounds us. Something which can not be overlooked, namely the lack of trees, or even the smallest bush, lack of night - light is for 24 hours a day, lack of sleep, the average temperature of 7-8 degrees, the wind, rain and happiness seen on the face of anyone who comes here. But not the nature creates an atmosphere of this place. The most important element are the people who live here, work or just staying for the night on their way to their journey.
Over the past three weeks in Arnt s house were: four French, four Poles, four Germans, two Austrians, 7 Finns, three Norwegians, American, Belgian, Italian, Romanian, Japanese, an Argentinean and a girl from Israel. A real mix of nationalities. There were moments that at the same time stayed in the house from 10 to 11 people, which only improved the mood of all. Only sleeping...
After a few days of eating dry bread, onions and sausages came true time of feasting. All guests who came here were making their national meals and brought with them some "gifts." So for a few days I had a few opportunity to eat Norwegian, Finnish, French, Belgian, Italian, Japanese and Romanian food.
Seafood, pizza, Japanese delicacies, Romanian something, French and Norwegian cheese (hint: do not even try the Norwegian brown cheese), Belgian beer, reindeer meat, Finnish poisonous mushrooms ... it's just a part of what I could try here. But all that is good one day ends. Tomorrow we move on and go back to the old schemata food.
The core of our small community consisted of "four banditos," Me, Norwegian, French and Romanian. Name invented by local Norwegians ... where from this idea? I have no idea:)
Recently decided to have an entertainment. I drove yellow, 20 year old, sports toy on wheels.
What a wonderful feeling, once again in a car. Especially, in on these roads , with nopolice. Ideal conditions for checking the possibility of this car:)
Just watch out for the reindeer ...

The grand opening of the terrac , which is one word - an event!
Number of guests: 30 people
Number of food: indescribable
Number of alcohol: the lack of scale
Party time: 58 hours
Today I'm moving on, the direction Tromso ...
I greet all
Marek
PS. Man likes sometimes drag the interesting places

Ty jesteś dwa razy szczęśliwy ;-)a ja spokojna....
Pozdrawiam i życzę powodzenia!!!
